Hi Neighbors,
- Parents-please ensure you are following pool rules for proper swim attire for your children.
- Parents-please have your children follow pool rules-for safety and comfort to those around you.
- Parents and kiddos-go under the rope not over-do not pull or yank on rope. If it breaks it is your responsibility to fix or replace so please do the right thing and be aware of what you children are doing.
- Lost and found will be donated/disposed of at closing on Sundays.
- As friendly a reminder as can be-please put away your umbrella when leaving and if you have food-please clean up after yourselves. There are paper towels in the restrooms to wipe down tables as needed and please pick up your trash. We do not have staff to do this for you.

It will take all of us to make the 2024 Pool season a success. We will not have life guards again this year. Access to the pool will be “swim at your own risk” The pool company will come 3 times a week to clean, check chemicals and clean bathrooms. There is an automatic chlorine tank that adds chlorine as necessary. It will be our responsibility to keep the pool deck area clean, make sure trash is disposed of, clean up food or wrappers on tables, and put umbrellas away after use. This also includes monitoring our children, being considerate of others as well as conducting yourself in a safe manner. You will be required to sign a waiver before your key fob will be activated. Landlords will sign the waiver as well as tenants. You will be responsible for your household and any guests. We were successful last year without guards so we are confident Eagles Landing residents are up to the challenge. Copies of the 2024 waiver and pool rules are on under the documents button.
Karen will be at the pool clubhouse Saturday May 25th from 10-12 to collect waivers and activate fobs for those that have not turned in waivers yet
Pool hours will be 8am-8pm this year.
- Pool is scheduled to open on Saturday May 25th. We will update if this date should change. Baby pool will not be available.
- If you paid your assessments in May-you will need to provide proof of payment. City and Village phone and internet is down and I am unable to get an updated paid list. Sorry for the inconvenience!
- 2024 Pool waivers and paid assessments for pool access. You can drop off waivers to pool mailbox.
- New guidelines for rental properties in Eagles Landing subdivision are now in effect. A few important matters to note:
- Non family members residing in your home fall under landlord/tenant relationship regardless of the monetary agreement.
- If you are renting out your property, you must submit a copy of the lease to the Eagles Landing Trustees by June 1, 2024. There will be a fine of $2,500 + daily fees if it is not submitted by June 1, 2024.
● Starting January 2024, rental companies can no longer buy a house in Eagles Landing to rent out. Houses currently owned by a rental company are grandfathered in.
● Private individuals who want to rent out their house will need to be approved by the Eagles Landing trustees.
If you are interested in becoming a Eagles Landing board member, please make your intentions known at the May 13th meeting. Elections will be held at the June10th meeting
You will soon receive a packet in the mail containing the approved final amendment, the 2024 pool waiver and a cover letter briefly explaining recent changes. Please read carefully.
You will need to sign the 2024 pool waiver, have assessments paid to gain pool access. You will need to show proof of payment if payment is made after May 20th. You may drop off your waiver to the pool mailbox. The same key fob from last year will be used for 2024. If you are in need of a replacement, contact Karen King at 636-541-7870. Replacement key fobs are $25.
Assessments have arrived in many mailboxes recently. Assessments are due February 1 and delinquent February 29th. There is much work scheduled at the pool before opening so prompt payment is appreciated. You may also contact City and Village Tax Office at 314-739-4800 to set up a payment plan or pay directly.
Most of the HOA is back to work. Please be patient if needing something. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding!
We will be taking bids for concrete work for the pool deck. If you know of any reliable contractors, please encourage them to submit a bid. Bids will be considered after pool closing in September
Codes for the restrooms is 4444.
Please take down and return umbrellas after use. We do not have staff to do this for you. Thanks!!!!
Please ensure the gate locks behind you. Residents have been gently closing the gate and it will not engage the lock. Also please do not allow anyone to walk in with you. If someone's key fob does not work they must contact Karen to get it activated. Opening the gate or allowing anyone to walk in with you will result in your fob being deactivated. Thanks for your assistance on this. Pool use is for residents with paid assessments and a waiver on file.
Pool is currently open. Hours are 8am-8pm Please dispose of all trash, clean your table and sweep up any food on the deck. There is a broom, dustpan, hose, paper towels and cleaning solution if needed If something is spilled please hose down the deck. Take down and return umbrellas when finished. It is our responsibility to leave the area clean. We have several residents that have stepped up and are volunteering their time to vacuum, skim and clean the pool on the days the pool company does not come. We appreciate their help! Take the time to thank them when you see them.
Parents-please be aware of what your children are doing. Keep your children safe and in the depth they are comfortable in. they must stay off of the rope. They may not hang or pull on the rope. When crossing, encourage them to go under the rope. If your child breaks the rope you will be responsible for replacing. There have been reports of parents unaware of where or what their children are doing.
You must have turned in a signed waiver and assessments paid to have your key fob activated. You may turn in in the drop box at the pool Copies of the waiver are under the documents button at the bottom of this page.
An agenda is posted under newsletters. If you have anything to add to the agenda email me at eagleslanding599@gmail.com
You will soon receive a ballot in the mail for amending the Eagles Landing indentures. This addresses the concerns expressed in last year's survey. Trustees went door to door catching as many residents as possible at home. These amendments include restrictions on leasing, regulations on lots that might be leased, online platform for meetings and voting, and amendment of restrictions. You will receive a copy of the proposed amendment and a ballot. Please review and cast your vote as soon as you receive it. You may return this using the self addressed stamped envelope, scanning and emailing it to eagleslanding599@gmail.com or dropping it off to Bev Todd at 2 Edgecrest Court. You can also find the proposed amendment under the documents section of this web page. If you have any questions please contact a trustee
While enjoying the mild weather with your dog, please be prepared to clean up after fido. It is very inconsiderate to let your pooch do his business in other's yards. Also be aware that there is a leash law. NO dogs should be out of their fenced yard unless on a leash. There have been complaints in the area of dogs running loose and attacking other dogs or people on walks.
This website was created to give residents more timely information than the newsletter that historically came out 3 or so times a year. This is not an app.
If you have questions or concerns please contact a trustee via email, this web site or phone. If you have suggestions, please bring to a board meeting and consider volunteering your time. HOA board is a volunteer position doing our best to make our community better.
There have been inquires about the installation of solar panels. Current HOA requirements are posted under the newsletter button. (5/10/22)
